The ACT test is a national college admissions test that consists of subject area tests in: English, Mathematics, Reading and Science. Next ACT test date: June 13, 2015

Iowa College Access Network (ICAN)
The Iowa College Access Network (ICAN) is a division of the Iowa Student Loan Liquidity Corporation. Its purpose is to supply free information, assistance, counseling and support to college-bound students and their families as they plan for college and apply for financial aid. Students from Iowa high schools planning to begin studies at an Iowa Regents institution (University of Iowa, Iowa State University, University of Northern Iowa) must have a Regent Admission Index (RAI) score of at least 245 and take the minimum number of required high school courses to qualify for automatic admission to:
The Regent Admission Index (RAI) combines four factors that strongly predict success at Iowa's regent universities: ACT score (or SAT equivalent), high school percentile rank, high school grade-point average (GPA), and the number of high school courses completed in core subject areas.
